The position of Youth Program Manager for Good Samaritan
Urban Ministries, encompassing two aspects of the youth
ministry: Whiz Kids Tutoring and several summer camps.
God prepared LuAnn’s heart for this position by
NOT sending her on a mission trip to Guatemala, where
she was to spend a couple of weeks working with an established
mission teaching biblical lessons to children in the
public schools. Instead, God planted her at Good Samaritan
teaching biblical lessons to at-risk children from all
over the Greater Des Moines area.
