Ministry Objectives
FAMILY
- To provide safe, decent shelter, basic needs assistance
and a Christian community for families who are homeless
- To provide intervention and support for families
who suffer from substance abuse, domestic violence,
child abuse and mental illness
- To facilitate family stabilization, reconciliation
and growthphysically, emotionally and spiritually
- To guide the processes of conversion, baptism, and
church membership for those whom the Lord sends our
wayprogram participants, neighbors and volunteers
YOUTH
- To provide a path to Christ for youth in residence
and community
- To build character and develop academic and vocational
interest
- To facilitate Christ-centered relationships
- To provide recreational opportunities
CHURCH
- To provide a vessel for ministry to the poor and
to teach volunteers how to serve Christ through the
poor
- To remind Christian churches of the Lords
commitment of the poor
- To facilitate outreach collaborations with neighboring
churches to reach to the poor
- To facilitate the start-up of outreach ministries
in the inner city
- To promote unity in the Body of Christ
- To promote church membership
COMMUNITY
- To lift up the Lord, ensuring His presence and visibility
in the community
- To be a point of contact whereby adults and youth
can access the Church 24-hours a day, seven days a
week
- To provide sound, effective Bible study and instruction
- To promote Christian fellowship
- To be an advocate for the poor
- To reach out to troubled youth, prostitutes, drug
addicts, drug dealers, the homeless and the mentally
ill who are on the streets
