Ministry Objectives

FAMILY

1. To provide safe, decent shelter, basic needs assistance and a Christian community for families who are homeless
   
2. To provide intervention and support for families who suffer from substance abuse, domestic violence, child abuse and mental illness
   
3. To facilitate family stabilization, reconciliation and growth—physically, emotionally and spiritually
   
4. To guide the processes of conversion, baptism, and church membership for those whom the Lord sends our way—program participants, neighbors and volunteers

YOUTH

1. To provide a path to Christ for youth in residence and community
2. To build character and develop academic and vocational interest
3. To facilitate Christ-centered relationships
4. To provide recreational opportunities

CHURCH

1. To provide a vessel for ministry to the poor and to teach volunteers how to serve Christ through the poor
2. To remind Christian churches of the Lord’s commitment of the poor
3. To facilitate outreach collaborations with neighboring churches to reach to the poor
4. To facilitate the start-up of outreach ministries in the inner city
5. To promote unity in the Body of Christ
6. To promote church membership

COMMUNITY

1. To lift up the Lord, ensuring His presence and visibility in the community
2. To be a point of contact whereby adults and youth can access the Church 24-hours a day, seven days a week
3. To provide sound, effective Bible study and instruction
4. To promote Christian fellowship
5. To be an advocate for the poor
6. To reach out to troubled youth, prostitutes, drug addicts, drug dealers, the homeless and the mentally ill who are on the streets
