Every summer Good Samaritan Urban Ministries' children
have the opportunity to experience many of the fun nature
and outdoor delights of camp. However, for many of our
children who come from the noisy city environment with
concrete streets and sidewalks lined with brick buildings,
the tranquility of nature can be frightening and a bit
overwhelming. However, each time they go to camp, they
have a chance to see life differently, especially the
wonders of God's glorious creation. Each year it's a
time for personal growth. Read

I am reminded of the story of Moses as he led the children
of Israel out of captivity from the land of Egypt. Moses
asked God the question, "Who am I, that I should
go unto Pharaoh, and that I should bring forth the children
of Israel out of Egypt." (Exodus 3:11)
As I reflect on the six months that I have been with
Good Samaritan Urban Ministries, I have fully come to
understand that all we do in life is a process, a series
of steps taken to accomplish a specific result/goal.
